The organization focusing on the holistic development works extensively for the Natural Resource Management and helps in promoting sustainable agricultural practices. The constant strain on the ecology due to ill practices by humans have adversely affected the environment. Increase in agriculture expenses, degradation of soil health, reducing and depleting productivity is leading to the reduction in the agriculture as an occupation. The organisation is working towards sustainable practices and new technologies through training, exposure visit, and demo plots. Various approaches like drip irrigation, trellis, mulching, horticulture etc. have been initiated with small and marginal farmers.
Navrachna Trust helps to promote and demonstrate alternative energy sources like solar lights and smokeless chulha in the communities which is eco-friendly. We have also constructed Check dams, Gali plugs, Nala plugs, Gabion structures, loose stone structure and pond deepening/clearing as a part of the NRM initiatives aiding in the sustainable development.
